Hello Scotty, I have a 2007 Ford Sport Trac 4.6L 6 speed transmission. The transmission was stuttering and I installed a rebuilt valve body. The fluid level is correct, but the reverse will not engage. I have it parked and can't get up my slightly upgrade driveway. I will put it in reverse and do not feel it engages, and if I accelerate it it will barely move. What can it be?

So to clarify, only reverse doesn't work? Or in gear as well, I don't know much but the forms I've been looking at tells me this is a common issue and in need of a trans rebuild. You may get lucky with linkage or something but from what I can see I wouldn't bet on it.
