Hello Scotty

hope all is well with you and your loved one

I have a 2016 Scion iA 4 cylinder automatic with 30500 miles on it.    NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS AT ALL !!!!!     I change the oil every 6 months !!!!!!    that's all I've really done to her.   Anyway, I was wondering if it would be A GOOD IDEA to change the TRANSMISSION FLUID now, at such low mileage !!!!    The reason being that I know its NOT a good idea when the milage is higher..  Just want to take care of her and get a good 300,000 IF POSSIBLE

Thank you for your Time

You seem like you're really into maintenance. I found a nice PDF for you with all the maintenance intervals specified by Scion, and it is VERY detailed (starts on page 36)! I did not see any transmission fluid service interval in the PDF; all I saw was transmission fluid inspection. However, I would change the transmission fluid and filter around 50k-60k miles (typical interval). Only do a drain, not a flush. Good luck, and I really hope your car does last to 300k miles!
