My check engine light came on and I scanned it and the code was p2700 came on. My transmission slips a little when trying to accelerate in the higher gears.I drive a 2011 Hyundai Genesis coupe 3.8 (automatic) and it has 134,000 miles on it. Im not sure if I should change my transmission fluid?

I suggest you drain some of it out and add an additive to improve friction.

Good luck!

You could do a full transmission fluid change just make sure you add an transmission fluid additive. They sell a bunch of them at autozone. I know Lucas and Seafoam make good stuff like that. Or like GT said just add some additive and don't do a full change. If your fluid is pretty clean you probably don't have to do a full change.

Realise that your vehicle is approaching the end of its useful life span. They pretty much start falling apart after 100-120,000 miles. So don’t spend too much cash trying to fix it. But sure, try the Lucas & see if it helps.
