2005 Ford Taurus 204,000 miles Auto transmission. Transmission shifts fine when it is cold or warm. When the Transmission gets fully heated up, or hot, It shifts from 1st to 2nd very violently. I did some online research and,......is it a problem with the "valve body"? One guy online says he installed a transmission fluid cooling system and it fixed the problem in his 2005 Ford Taurus. ...btw ..welcome to Tennessee. I've lived here in Tennessee my whole life of 50 years so far. lol

Try this remove one quart of automatic transmission fluid and put one quart of Lucas automatic transmission anti-slip additive in.then pray cuz otherwise it's probably going to need the transmission overhauled knowing that model
