Hi SK,
My thanks to you and the moderators for keeping this project going. Lacking access to private sellers (any suggestions beyond Autotrader?), I'm reduced to hunting dealerships for a high teens/low 20's model year RX350 w/ <80k miles@~$40k. I'm taking candidate vehicles to trusted mechanics for inspection but I'm ignorant about their scan tool capabilities to help ID an acceptable or questionable transmission.
Any suggested scan tools for this? Considering my due diligence efforts for this purchase, should I be having my head examined instead?
