Transmission SHUDDER

I work at Autozone and (2) of our vans purchased new, (2018 Chevy Express Vans Base model Automatics) have a 'SHUDDER' when shifting. Seems to be at 25mph and them 45 mph. Pretty much all the time. My van has 76,000 miles the other about 130,000. The older has had it going on for quite a while mine maybe the past 15,000 miles. Have not yet changed the AT fluid or filter. They get moderate use I'd say. Sometimes I may have a delivery of 120 rotors ate one time. Combines city and highway driving. I treat my van as if it were my own car.

Trans or maybe torque converter ????????

Sounds like possibly an internal transmission issue. I would have it checked out ASAP to prevent any further damage from happening.

I bet the shudder happens at a medium to light acceleration,… and just scant before an up shift. If that’s so, culprit most likely is a torque converter - going bad.

Often, such condition persist for quite sometimes before a failure, and sometimes failure happens rather quickly. Sometimes, though, if you change the fluid, it gets better and over the period of few hundred miles goes away and never returns. It’s worth a try, …

That's pretty much how and when it happens. I'm real easy on the gas. I'll make an appointment next week. Keep my fingers crossed. Thanks {black}

Yes, have it checked out immediatly by a proffesional.
