Hey Scotty I recently bought a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD with 230,000+ miles on it and when I bout it I knew the transmission was slipping so my question is what is your advice I start looking into do I check the fluid?

if you want to keep the truck , start saving some money and find a trustworthy trans shop. You'll need at least $3k

Has the transmission been regularly serviced over the last 12 years and 230,000+ miles? Check fluid level and condition. Chances are though that the transmission is worn out at that mileage especially if it has not been maintained properly.
