- I have a 1995 toyota camry le with 179,000 miles my transmission takes a while to shift in gear nd whn it do it jumps i do need motor mounts so that might be the jumping but why it takes a while to shift gear but if i let off the gas a lil if shifts

When was the last time the transmission fluid was checked? It might be low on fluid. Toyota transmissions are pretty solid so try checking the fluid 1st after it's warmed up. If it's low add the correct transmission fluid also.
