Silly concern but- My 2020 civic with the 1.5 Earth Dreams engine/manual 6 speed runs 2500-3200 rpm interstate driving. I am sure it would be just fine on a trip (400 miles) but I am not accustomed to driving at that high rmp. I would have thought it would have been designed to run interstate speeds at what I would consider 'normal' rpms. When I am not paying attention and just listening to the engine, I do find myself looking for the '7th' gear...

What do you expect from an engine that small?
