Trouble shifting manual transmission when cold

Hello all. I have a 2008 Chevy Cobalt 2.2 with a manual transmission that doesn't want to go into 3rd when its cold, usually worst in winter months, on startup only. I replaced the transmission fluid a couple years ago and that helped smooth out some slightly rough shifts. No codes. Runs great warm. 191K miles with about 25K on current transmission fluid. Are my synchronizers worn out and do I need to have the transmission worked on or can I just keep dealing with it and occasionally skipping gears when its cold?

Me I'd live with it cuz odds are the synchronizers going out in that gear and that's a complete rebuild

@scottykilmer
Thanks. This car is a salvage title (thanks to the deer here in NC) and is a cheap high mpg commuter so I expect one day it will become a rolling paperweight. Dont want to throw good $ away.
