And some time the car tends to overheat but i keep coolant in the car at all times. I'm a diy er lol and you think with the millage on the car should i search for a lower millage engine?? Or take the heads off and have em checked for cracks etc???
Since you don't see leaks, odds are that your car burns it.
Check the headgasket leak situation with the kit Scotty mentioned in his videos. If it is leaking, I think it is time to get another car.

Thanks man come to find out it was a head gasket leak with almost 300000 miles its time to let her go i will be putting a 4 sale sign up for it. Thanks
Check the basics first, check for leaks and do a headgasket test. Is it puffing white smoke from the tailpipe? That's sign that it's burning coolant.

Yeah like when its running off cold start the white smoke smell sweet so I'm certain its a head gasket issue but thanks man 👍
