I have a Daewoo Nexia GTX 1996 1.5l petrol DOHC manual with 144000 kilometers. While i was driving the rpm droped dramatically and if I stepped on the gas pedal it’s  RPMs would drop even more to the point of stalling or shutting down And when I press the gas paddle the car would not rave at all.And when the car shut down I couldn’t start it by ear if I will but when I left it for a night and then in the morning I could start the car but it would not take long For the car to shut down again probably something like 30 to 40 minutes

I have a Daewoo Nexia 1996 1.5l petrol 16 valve DOHC engine manual transmission with 145,000 kilometers. As I was normally driving in the city with the car just dropped the RPMs dramatically and when I stepped on the gas pedal the RPMs would drop even more to the point that the car could even store or shut down. And when the car is shut down I couldn’t start it back up for a long long time then I left it overnight and in the morning the next day I start it up it started with a lot of difficulty with the second or the third try and I tried to get it back home but it worked only for about 30 to 40 minutes and then she died again I don’t know what is wrong with it

Please don’t double post, thanks.

Are you getting check engine light? Is it possibly overheating?

I had a 1997 one with similar issue. Driving down the road, the car died and Started up after some time of waiting. I hardly got to the mechanic. It was found out the fuel pump was broken and spark plugs were bad.

For the shutting off while driving, if you don’t have any code on the dash, you may probably have due pressure issue which comes from a weak fuel pump. For the other issue that the car does not start up when hot, you may have leaky fuel injectors.

A mechanic told me that the ditributor is the problem
