Scotty, first a big welcome to Tennessee ! Not sure exactly where you are located, but I live in the northeastern part of the state. Johnson City,TN . I love watching your videos, and as an old "Shade tree" mechanic. I can really relate to some of the videos you post. Now my question, I have $10-12 thousand dollars cash to buy a decent reliable used pickup truck. Can you please give me the best 3-4 used trucks, to buy in that price range? Since I can't do any mechanical work anymore, and I need an automatic. Thank you so much for your help, and your videos. May God bless you and your family.

Tacoma is best (but is very expensive you would have to get a 15-20 year old one)

Nissan Frontiers are decent

Ford F-150 is a solid choise

Ford Rangers are good if you are fine with 150k miles out of a truck.

My top picks are the f-150 and tacoma.

I would agree Tacomas are (as Scotty says) the best midsized truck, and the crew cabs are very comfortable if youre looking for that. But yeah, you would have to buy an older one because of price.
I would say Rangers are pretty good too, and they can go well over 200k if treated right. Two family member and I have rangers, so I’m a little biases haha.
