Help!!I'm looking to buy a used toyota sienna for my wife to drive after the birth of our 3rd In this crazy market (she's afraid of her expadition)
.I'm looking at an 04 with 145+k miles on it it has the usual blemished marks interior is immaculate.
It's at a dealer and when I test drive it it seemed to have a lot noise coming from the rear the want 6700 out the door tax and all in good ole Tennessee would it be with the risk buying as is it's a buy here pay here place but I'm paying cash. I'm willing to take care of the cosmetic( cracked motor housing scuffed and scrapes and cracked tail light.) But I'm unfamiliar with the rear end setup on these and I dont want to wind up spending much more on immediate repairs as I'm no longer able to do my own work. Also there dont seem to be a macanic with in a 40 mile radius thats willing to inspect it
No way that I would buy it without an inspection and a copy of the CARFAX. Ask the guys at some of your local auto parts stores about good mechanics that they deal with.
Hadent thought of auto parts stores I'll as around and see if there's a reputable mechanic in the area where the van is located
If the dealer won't alow it to placed for inspection it'll be a tip off for shure
