TRying to buy a VW TAos with FWD instead of AWD, Dealer trying to sell AWDm saying will increas trade in value is it worth the extra cost if I do not have much swnow here

Do you need AWD?
How long do you plan on keeping your car?
How many miles do you plan on keeping your car?
IMHO, if you need it, get it. If you don’t, don’t.

Do you really want a Tao? The FWD has Aisin 8AT but the AWD has 7DCT.
If you do want a Tao, I would go the FWD than AWD.
I think Tao has a timing chain (not quite sure about that), and VW has a timing chain problem.
Also I think it's the first year they use 1.5 TSI, so I would stay away. Or try to get a Corolla Cross
