What are your thoughts about the new Lexus ES250 AWD?  I know it's newer and hasn't been out very long and I know Lexus/Toyota quality, but why would a luxury brand offer an I4 engine?  My Lexus salesman says they are noisy and aren't selling very well.  Just curious if you had an opinion.  I've owned a 98, 05, 07 & currently have an 11 ES350 and love them.

Alright, well it’s the same engine from the RAV4 and Camry. I mean, the 4 cylinder still has adequate power, yet it still has reasonable fuel economy. Plus, that model has all wheel drive standard, so I guess it’s a cheaper alternative to the “350” which has the V6. You can test drive them both

Honestly, the 4 cylinder ES is pretty overpriced because you put that engine in a heavy luxury car that's a midsize sedan (maybe that's one of the reasons why it's not selling well), it just won't have enough oomph. You can get a new Camry with the exact same powertrain plus u can get it with AWD, it will be quicker and a lot cheaper to buy. Honestly if ur buying a Toyota/Lexus sedan with the 2.5 i4, go Camry. The Lexus IMO is not worth it and when you tick boxes for packages and options, it gets very expensive.
