184k 2008 lexus IS250 transmission service

2008 lexus IS250 AWD automatice, 184k. Shifts have a bit of a chug to them. Transmission never serviced to my knowledge. Should i do a Transmission service? I know the old wives tale with automatice Transmissions with older fluid, so just curious. Ty
