I do most of my own maintenance for car. No lights warning lights of any kind are currently present.

So I was in park in a parking spot with the car running. I just turned my wheel and my rpm went up. Now parked doing nothing it’s maybe 525 rpm. Turning my wheel it goes to 1000 and back to the 525. Is this normal? Or is this a sign of an issue?

Your idle rpm is a bit low. It is normal that rpm goes a bit high when you turn the wheel but not that much. Have you cleaned the MAF sensor and IAC valve?
