I have a 2022 Elantra N DCT which is a front-wheel drive car. It comes with the Michelin PS4 (P245/35R19) and those won't be useful during winter. So my question is, is it necessary to get winter/snow tires or would all season suffice? Here is some additional info about my situation:
1. Although it snows in Illinois, the snow plowing is pretty good here so roads usually don't have much snow here.
2. I will be keeping my PS4s and using them for summers
3. The car comes with an eLSD which I understand should make the experience a little better in light snow (No intensions of speeding in those conditions anyway)
4. This is the first fwd car I've had
Yep, you know how to drive. You probably won't need snow tires. Heck, my mother didn't even get snow tires in Buffalo with the Toyota Corolla which was front wheel drive
