I own a 2005 Mazda 3 . The bearings for my AC burned out so I had to take off the belt for now. Before this happened I was hearing a squeak on the driver side. So I thought the belt I took off was the source of the sound. Apparently it wasn't. I can't see anything on the driver side with a belt. It speeds up when I give it gas so it just seems its mechanical, but for the life of me I can't figure out what it can be. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Love your Youtube channel. It's very informative. Thank you in advance.
Well do my video finding the sources of car noises Scotty. Machine like that can find the source of any noise it could be any internal part too if you take the belt off and the noise remains it can't be anything the belt drives. Sometimes it's dragging breaks sometimes it's internal transmission problems lots of things
Yeah the tranny worries me. It makes the noise when its sitting in park also when I'm driving. It doesn't get louder just faster when I press the throttle. No grinding. Sometimes there's no noise at all. I'll check out what you suggested. Thank you, I appreciate the response.
