Ask if it is bullet proofed. I personally own a now bulletproofed and lightly built 2004 F250 Lariat and to put it short, stock the 6.0L is one of the most unreliable engines you can get. Dont get me wrong they are powerful and quite fun but before i bulletproofed my 6.0 i had to replace many things multiple times. Word of advice if you do get it stock, if something does break on it then replace it with something bulletproof. Say your FICM dies which mines did 3 times then do not replace with an OEM/Remanufactured part, replace it with a bulletproofed unit from a reputable brand. Not only will a lot of bullet proofed parts be more reliable but they can also add more power.
What reputable brand should I use?
