I am looking at buying a used 2005 Honda Civic LX Sedan from a dealership. It only has 58,000 miles on it, Automatic. I just want to find out if this year is a reliable car and worth pursuing to purchase? I know some of the earlier 7th Gen civic's had some major issues. Thanks for any insight you can give in advance!

They are extremely reliable cars but I would want absolute proof that that is real mileage because it's kind of unbelievable to be that low on something to that old

It if passes a thorough pre purchase inspection, offer half the asking price and see what happens.
