my 2002 toyota Tacoma six automatic there’s a squeaking noise at the back of the vehicle underneath I’m thinking a differential issue and I had some shifting in my automatic transmission but it went away so perhaps that might give a clue to what’s up ???

I drove through Manitoba once when I went from Toronto to Vancouver. The visit an old girlfriend in the '70s. Now to pinpoint sounds is relatively easy. Just do my video finding the source of car noises. Scotty. There are many machines that you can buy to hear sounds just go to Amazon. You'll see there's tons of them. They all work fine
