Hi, I'm thinking of buying a 2010 Corolla off Craigslist (private party sell). It's an automatic, havent had the scans yet, the buyer has not gotten back to me whether they got the needed safety inspection needed by the state of MD. The car is being listed for $6380. What do you think of this?

Assumed the seller doesn't live next door to you, when he refuses to give you the needed information, I would look elsewhere/for another Toyota.
Make sure it isn't the xrs version, those have the 2.4 liter engine that has some issues like oil burning.
Make sure it has the 1.8L engine.
As for a seller being evasive, if he doesn't answer in a reasonable amount of time, move on. A friend was looking at a 2010 matrix, but the buyer would not give any maintenance records, and was evasive to questions. My advice was look elsewhere, you don't want to take a chance on a seller that is not being forthcoming with info.
If the car checks out as being in good condition, that actually is a pretty good price in my part of MD (current used car prices are crazy)
How many miles is that? Try to get the price lowered.
