Hi, my brother has this Isuzu trooper (do no what year!) when it reached 300,000 km the T-Belt light came on what does it mean? and does he have to change anything?
And are they 'this model' any good or any other advice to keep it in good shape?

It probably means it's time to change the timing belt
If I remember correctly one of the main weaknesses with those cars were the GM transmissions in the automatic but if it's a manual it should be pretty good
