Dear Scotty

Thank you for your amazing channel and generous expert information.  I found a clean Highlander Limited 2010 with 126,000 miles on it (private sale) for 12,900.  Single owner no accidents, always parked in their garage, seems very maintained oil and more every 5000 miles, fully serviced at the dealership they bought it from with complete records invluding recently new battery, new brakes new tires.  The inspection I had said it looked good and advised that thr spark plugs and transmission fluid would need to be taken care of at some point (I guess the spark plugs were not replaced at 120,000 miles as advised by Toyota.  Is 12,900 a reasonable price in this condition with this required maintenance?  Your thoughts and guidance will be appreciated as we hope to have whatever we invest in for 5-10 years with minimal issues if possible.  Thanks!

Well I'm a cheapskate and I've never pay that kind of money but they are well made vehicles I would try to get it at a lower price though as an example I bought my wife a Lexus ES300 with 65,000 miles for 3 Grand that was from a customer when his father died of a heart attack

Great point. Thank you for taking time to respond!

If it is in good shape snatch it up they are very good vehicles.

The common issue with these is the rear liftgate. Make sure to adress this issue if it pops up.

Other than that, they were pretty dependable vehicles.
