Ford Fusion low gas mileage and hard shift

I have a 2016 Ford Fusion 1.5L turbo automatic transmission with 44,000 miles. I went from getting around 20 miles per gallon to now getting around 10, checked my air filter and changed oil with no help. Also between first and 2second gear when it shifts it shifts hard. Any help is highly appreciated thank you! ( I live in New Jersey)

Wow, that is a drastic change in fuel economy for a car that has 44k miles on it. Is the check engine light on or any codes stored in the OBDII? It sounds like your engine is running super rich. More info would be helpful please...when it happened/started, what you did to the car before it started, previous maintenance done to the car, etc.

Are you running the recommended 91/93 octane? Turbocharged engines run on higher octane.

Only work done is 2 oil changes, one new air filter. Only code i have on it is P026A. I took it to a local mechanic who had to fix the actuator, my fuel economy went back to around 20 now its back to around 10 ro 11

@batarr22

Oh, the P026A code means the charged air is not being cooled down properly. Inefficient cooling can be caused by low turbo boost. The intercooler cools down the charged air effectively when it is pressurized inside from proper turbo boost. What actuator are you talking about?

I'm not sure which one, I can't find the paper work from when the guy did my car

Well I would check with your mechanic because inefficient charge-air coolers have nothing to do with actuators...unless you're talking about the turbo bypass valve (releases excess boost from the charged air system)?

He repaired line ar intake manifold, active grill shutter control plug not plugged in plug in and reset, reset fuel milage computer. And I just scanned my car and the evap system is messed up

Also after scan, no codes
