1. Is the 2016-2018 Chevy Colorado Diesel reliable as a used truck?
2. Also what is the maximum mileage to buy a used Colorado Diesel.

If someone was going to get the Colorado, the Diesel engine mated to the 6-speed automatic transmission would be the way to go, and then go with minimum options on the vehicle (so less things break over time). At the end of the day, it is still a GM product (and quality of GM has been on a downhill for a while) and all the things around the powertrain (especially the electronics) can potentially give issues over time as you rack up the mileage. That’s my main gripe about that truck. But if you had to get a GM truck it’s either that or a 2500+ HD (and again go low on the options to help with reliability).
