Hey Scotty I got a friend who's selling me a 2019 Toyota Highlander with 165k miles for $13k in California it got some wear and tear and was used for rideshare. and the problem it has needs axles, structs, and tires. What do you think Its worth the buy? And is there any future problems that I need to beware? And if I buy it how much you think should it be worth?

city stop-and-go city is the worst kind of driving for a vehicle

The bill for these issues will be significant. Call some shops to get a quote.

Do some research. Check used car ads. How does this price compare to similar vehicles?

Be very careful about buying big ticket things from a friend. Things could get ugly very quickly.

it's a high mileage vehicle now. Things are going to start wearing out and breaking down.

Did your friend keep records of the maintenance he did? Has he been changing the engine and transmission oil regularly?

No, too much for a high mileage vehicle that needs a lot of work.

the problem it has needs axles, structs,

Sounds like wreck damage for a 3 yr old Toyota vehicle to need whole axles..

I’d pass just considering the heavy mileage..
