Only slips when I first drive it the engine revs I back off gas then give gas again and it doesn't do it the entire day. It started last year car had about 165K now has 175k, Hasn't done it all summer since last May. now weather cooled a little it's started again. I thought these transmission were bullitproof? Anything I can do. Thanks.
it's a 4 cyl. According to Scotty's video this year and model is supposed to be bulletproof.
it's definitely not bulletproof.
Personally I would get rid of it before it gets worse.
It's a decade old with 175K miles, and a model prone to transmission problems - when is the last time fluid and filter were changed?

It's not, if you research it you will find that model is well-known for transmission problems and the problem is made worse if it is not maintained properly.
