How is a 2011 Buick LaCrosse CXL, 6 speed automatic? I am a college student and am looking for a car that can get me from point A to B. The car has 76K miles and is selling at $9k at a dealer. Not sure if that's a good buy. Please help.

That car is barely worth $5000
I assume you thought it was a more "premium" car and liked it I'd recommend the Lexus ES for that, or the Toyota Corolla/Honda Civic if you are just looking for an A to B car.

With $9000, I’d look for a very nice, late model, low mileage Toyota Corolla/Honda Civic.

I’d pass on that. For Point A to B car for a college student I’d look at a Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic instead.
Pass on that one. It is overpriced and you don't really want a LaCrosse long term.
