I recently purchased a CarWireless brand phone charging pad. It worked for a few weeks, now I can’t get it to work. I noticed it was taking longer and longer to start charging my phone. When I first got it, it started charging my phone in a few seconds. Then by week three, it was taking about 15 seconds to start charging. Is it just burnt out, already? If this is a junk product, can anyone please recommend a better charging pad or even parts that I can build my own with? Thanks
So you’re plugging in the wireless car charger into the same USB adapter as you would plug in the charging cable or your phone, correct?
Why make life so complicated? Why not just use your USB phone cable, like the rest of us?

Very interesting! It looks stock.. however, I hate to break it to you, buy a $29 wireless charger isn’t going to last.. if you still want to attempt the fix, look for a good quality wireless charger which is known to last for years.
I’d expect any charger to last more than 3 weeks! Can you be of any help at all or are you just going to waste my time??
I presume it is made in China, in which case it can be a hit or miss what quality you get. You have a 30-day return window; I would return it and give them a second chance - maybe you just got a bad batch. That’s what I would do.
I would, but I bought it way before installing it in my dash.
I might just try the same one, again, though. Unless I can find something longer lasting.
I would contact them and see if they can still do anything for you - worth a shot.
