Hi Scotty,
I am getting a 2009 Honda CRV Ex sport suv with 129000 mileage in 6000. Is it worth taking it.
Overall, those are pretty solid and reliable cars. With that many miles, see if you can knock off around $1000 and get the price closer to $5000 - but that is a reasonable asking price for a CRV since SUVs are so popular these days. Of course, make sure you get a pre-purchase inspection done before you decide to buy it. If everything checks out, it should be a good daily driver
My wife has a 2010 CRV and I had a 2004 used CRV for a few years. The 2004 thru 2012 have very consistent AC compressor failures. Make sure you try out all the accessories for function on the car especially the AC. If compressor is shot, Figure $1200 done at the Honda dealer.....ask me how I know.
Thanks for reply. If i get it inspected and everything comes out good. Then do you still think , Ac compressor could get failed..
