I am buying used 2009 honda CRV EXL woth 130000 mileage in 6000. According to car fax report it had 4 owner and last owner bought it in auto auction. Today, i went for a test drive and found ac was working but heat was not. Should i buy it or not.
6 grand is way too much to pay for a 11 year old crv. Id offer the guy like $3000
I would avoid it. Not a fan of auction cars. You may only be seeing the tip of the iceberg of problems that it has.
It's an auction car and you are already experiencing problems? I would stay away. Plus, that generation had problems with premature tire wear. CR-Vs are good crossover suvs, but auction car that is having problems, with 130k miles. 4 owners? That means every 2-3 years the owner changed. There must be a reason for that. RUN AWAY.
