Love your information!
What's your fix vs buy for 2005 Ford explorer, 160k miles owned since 2013. I've put in about $ 1500 repairs every couple years which i think is reasonable. Regular full synthetic oil changes. I'd like to run it as long as possible. When does it start to be time to stop pouring 💰 into used vehicle like this?
Please don't post duplicates. Thanks.

When it needs major repairs such as engine or transmission, or when it starts costing more per month than a decent car payment, it is time to let it go.
Sounds like you are ok for now.

What kind of repairs?
I doubt you’d get much for it now, anyways. I’d continue to drive it, till the wheels fall off, then buy a Toyota.
Thanks I'll keep driving then Toyota 😁
