I purchased a 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid i payed over 6,000 for dealer items such as gap insurance, anti theft, paint protection, vehicle replacement fee. I refused the deal and told the salesman i didnt want any of these optional items. The salesman left and said he was going to remove all the options. After an hr the salesman returned and told me that i need the gap insurance and would give it to me for there cost of $4 a month and he left again and returned an hr later. As i signed the contracts i was shown the Vehicle price and accessories by the salesman that was what im paying nothing else but tax lic. After the deal was done i was given one set of keys and told thats the way it comes. After a few days i looked at the contract and noticed all these fees. I contacted the dealer, he returned 1,000 to my lender and said that i signed the contracts so he was being nice. I started looking up this auto dealer and found hundreds of reviews about them doing this.I feel like a fool for signing these contracts that were misrepresented. what can i do? i cant afford a lawyer. Can i stand in front of his dealership with Buyer Beware sign?
Maybe contact your state attorney general's office and make a fraud complaint? All too many dealers are thieves pulling crap like this, lots of youtube videos are out there on what to look out for.
