Trying to select 3 low cost used cars for my sister’s kids— mid 30’s with children. Need to ge back and forth to work etc. Are these reasonable reliable without extensive repair/ breakdown histories—
1. 09 Accord EX-L 98K mi automatic $4900
2. 06 Altima 3.5 SE. 130K mi automatic $2000
3. 03 Acura MDX Touring Sport Utility 168Kmi $2000

- Hello, I would stay away from the Nissan and although the Acura is made by Honda, repairs will be more expensive as it's Acura and not a Honda. Although the Honda Accord is the most expensive, it will be the cheaper but in the long run with really good reliability. Now with that said being the EX-L, it's most likely the V6 model and some have seen issues with the VCM on the engine.
