I have had my car in the shop 2007 gmc Denali 6.2 engine. I asked for it rebuild he told me he couldn’t find the piece it’s been over a month he hasn’t found the block for the rebuilt engine. Now he is saying he has a used one 101k miles on it. Wondering what to do because I just have been renting a car and it’s been over a month.

I'd go somewhere else who the heck is going to have a rebuilt engine with 100,000 mi. Pardon it makes no sense
