Scotty- help me choose between a tacoma & ridgeline. Buying from dealer- awd vs 4wd here in New England ? Your preference?

Depends on what you need it for, but if you can swing the payment and the Tacoma gets a clean bill of health from an independent mechanic (before you buy) I’d go with the Tacoma.

What do you want, an actual truck or a unibody that has truck-like qualities? If you want something that's more car-like, get the Ridgeline. If you want to haul heavier things get the Tacoma. The Tacoma is a body-on-frame vehicle. Honda doesn't make actual trucks in the US market, maybe at all.

Tacoma if you need a truck like truck. Truck like meaning more utility.

Ridgeline if you are okay with a car like truck. Car like meaning more comfortable.
