Made an appointment to test drive a truck. On paper it seems perfect for me. It is at a used car dealership hour and a half away. The owner called me today and said he was sorry and didn't want me to waste a trip. Truck needed work before he would confidently sell it. Said they replaced power steering pump, battery, plugs, O2 sensor, and intake.
Should that be red flag not to buy this truck? Or is that a great move by a small dealership.
They have great reviews on Google and yelp.
Thanks for your time.

those mostly sound like normal items for a used truck, except for the "intake". What's that all about? And what kind of truck is it?

Said they were going to replace the intake gasket. Then noticed intake was cracked. So put a new one on.
I don't know that answer.
