Valve Stem Seals - which are most prone to wear or degrading - intake or exhaust?

96 Avalon Automatic 55000mi

I'm just examining options for testing a small top-down repair with the least accessiblity complications on this car. It seems the exhaust side camshaft can be removed without getting into the whole mess of the timing belt dissembly, etc.

If you remove any cam it's a pain in the butt anyway you look at it you can easily miss a line the timing marks taking it apart and putting it together no job like that is simple to do on the car without complete disassembly

Thanks Scotty, I looked at the photos of the crankshafts and it looked like the exhaust side was not tied into the same gear mess as much as the intake camshaft. It appeared it could pop out, but probably looks easier than it is.
