Hey Scotty I got a 2002 Toyota Camry XLE the VCS and trac off light come on once I start driving the car but when I first start the car and it’s in park the lights don’t come on till I put in in reverse or drive and my traction control works because when I first start the car I can turn it on and off but once it’s In drive those lights come on any tips I believe it’s a sensor.
I have the same exact problem on my 2002 Lexus ES 300 version of virtually the same vehicle...my once mechanic hooked it up and suggested the sensor as well, but he never got back to me with a quote on the repair and his work has unfortunately declined over the years. Would Scotty suggest this as a DYI repair? I have been unable to find information regarding the sensor location/ access anywhere online.
Well you can't guess on those things if you need a Clarksville I analyze them free I'd have to hook up my daily level scan tool and do some bi-directional tests to see what was breaking down it's not a smart idea to just guess with parts
