Hi Scotty,

I currently drive a 13 Yukon XL Denali. I’ve done some work to it to get rid of the horrible cylinder deactivation mess so I feel comfortable in it’s reliability. That said, my wife is giving birth to our 5th kid and looking at a Ford Transit. 3.7 naturally aspirated with the 6 speed auto. I know there’s some cam phaser issues there but wanted your thoughts and if there’s a different vehicle you’d suggest. Thank you

Congrats!  Ya may need to figure out what's causing that ;  )

I'd look at Honda Odyssey and Toyota Siena.  There's a few years where the Odyssey had issues as I recall but the later years were good as I remember.  Ford Transit is logical too and arguments can be made for it as well.

Thank you! I’ve had a minivan in the past and have experienced less than ideal room for anything more than passengers. Sequoia is great but too small in the cargo space as well.

I don’t see Toyota in the people hauler space so I guess Ford transit is the next best. Thanks for the feedback 🙂

Yep, based on your needs and experience, the transit does sound best for ya'll.
