Hey scotty I have a 2014 subaru forester 2.5L with a 6 speed manual just hit 140k and i do take it off roading, yes subaru lol. I have a rubbing noise that happens in first gear on hard acceleration and is barely noticeable in second gear, sounds like a boot rubbing on a metal plate with a deep tone to it right by the drivers feet, ive gone over the suspension system and drive train with a fine comb and can't figure it out, starting to hit the rainy season in washington and rain apparently adds lubricity to what ever is so you cant get it to make the noise, if you have an idea that would be helpful thank you

Check both engine and transmission mounts.
