Hello Scotty, I am going from Detroit Michigan to Chicago Illinois/downtown. I will be renting a vehicle from Turo. What is a good vehicle for traveling like this and out of the following vehicles which one is the best on gas mileage for such a trip? (Toyota, Subaru, Nissan, Mercedes and Ford)

Thank you.

Thanks to all.,

I had to go Toyota or Subaru. Since you're renting the car not buying it the Subaru was a decent they don't last as long as Toyota's but they're dependable when they're new

Which model would you choose out of the Toyota, Subaru?

Go to: fueleconomy.gov

There you can enter up to four vehicles at a time to compare gas mileage ratings side-by-side.

Happy motoring. 🤗

On the website that I provided the link for, which models did you find to be the most fuel efficient and that you are interested in?

Turo

Why? that's people renting out their personal cars, don't expect that to be a good experience.

Most rental companies have a hybrid category if you want gas millage.

As far as the question you asked,

What Toyota? What Subaru? What Nissan? what Mercedes? and what Ford?

For instance "a Ford", is that a Ford Fiesta or a Ford F-150?

It depends exclusively on what they have to offer.

You need to provide us with a short list of the Toyota and Subaru models that meet your needs in regards to gas mileage ratings, size , ride comfort, etc. and that are available in your area for anyone here to provide a proper response.
