2016 Honda crv with 75,463 miles
I feel slight vibration upon pushing the gas pedal(start up mostly)
I took it to Honda dealership and was told it needed front axle seal, refill of tranny fluid, timing chain tensioner, and actuator! All for 1600.00.
I did notice a couple of spots of fluid below the area of question but hardly any.
Do you think that would fix the vibration and is that too much money in Madison wi area?
Automatic transmission
I was wrong on 1600. They want 350 just for the inspection and 300 to do the work
Take the car to an independent mechanic shop. It seems the dealer is trying to sell you the kitchen sink.
The dealer is on a fishing expedition and wants you to pay for it. Lose them and as @yaser said, find a good independent mechanic.
It seems like you’re experiencing the dreaded CR-V CVT vibrations -

So what do you think the cost would be the to repair the cvT seal {black}:scared: :beg:
If the CV axle boot is leaking, you’re going to have to get it fixed ASAP. You don’t want to drive the vehicle with the tranny low on fluid. However, find a honest mechanic to perform the repair to avoid paying stealership fees.
