[Solved] Vibration while accelerating

I just sold my wrx and picked up a 2001 Corolla. Runs pretty well and has 164k. So when I accelerate, starting around 2700 or 2800 rpms, there's a lot of vibration, like a buzzing sound. Not sure if it's engine related, drivetrain, alignment, but almost sounds like a vtec as you climb in rpms. Cars engine seems perfectly smooth till that point and runs well idling.

Do you feel any loss in performance/acceleration during the vibrations? Also, can you please make a YouTube video of the noise and paste the link here?

None and smooths out at 3400rpms. No loss in power. Person who sold it put new spark plugs in. Doesn't burn oil. It's more of a buzzing than vibration.

I'll try to make a video when I get a chance.

Buzzing is usually loose heat shields.

I'll have to check that out.

You need to isolate the source by chaning indivual component.

For the starter, I would check the spark plugs. Does your car burn oil?

Spark plugs are new, no misfire, irregularities, smooth linear power (power for the lols, rated at 125hp 21 years ago)
