I found a very nice 2012 vw Touareg vr6 sport with 103k mikes and I want to know are they reliable and yes I know mostly vws are unreliable.

Realize the VW Touareg is engineered/built on the same platform as the Porsche Cayenne. As such they have similar parts and technology, and anything that breaks on those will cost a small fortune to fix. With all the electronics on board, and this vehicle is already over 100,000 miles, this is not a vehicle we can recommend to buy outside of a warranty.
