I have a 2019 Heep Cherokee with 99,000 miles on it.  My mechanic said I should get rid og it and when I posted here others said the same.  I found a 2018 Volvo XC90 T6 Momentum with an 316 hp 2L I4.  *0,000 miles $17,500.  My mechanic said run from this car because parts are hard to get in the US.  What is the boards thoughts?

You will find that parts and service on Volvos are very expensive. On some models only the dealer can do even basic services, so you're stuck paying premium prices for everything.

Looking up problems with the XC90 it appears that expensive failures such as transmission problems are not uncommon. You should probably keep looking.
