Hi Scotty, I have a 2014 Volvo XC-60 automatic with 78k miles. I hit a pothole a few months ago and since then have had the ABS and DSTC Temporarily OFF warning symbols on my dashboard. The car drives and brakes fine. I recently moved to Western North Carolina and finally brought the vehicle to a local repair shop that specializes in Volvos. The mechanic did a computer scan and said the only faults that came up were for a Knock Sensor and for new Spark Plugs. Does this make any sense? Or should I be going to the Volvo Dealer near Asheville NC who might be better at addressing the issue. I love your YouTube channel! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. THANKS, George
Find another mechanic and have him to Check the ABS sensor on the wheel you hit the pothole. Odds are that the sensor is damaged.
